10 month old finger food burgers- protein patties

So since Eliah is insistent on feeding himself now I have been thinking about how to get good food into him.. Today I created this recipe which is packed full of protein to meet his growing needs

1 tin organic chick peas
1 cup of pre soaked buckwheat
1 cup of red lentils
1/2 leek
1 glove garlic(optional)
1 tbs curry powder

Pre soak the buckwheat over night and rinse before using, rinse the chickpeas and lentils too. Lightly saute the leeks and garlic in coconut oil then add the pulses. Cover with water and add the curry powder and leave to simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.

After 20 mins and when all ingredients are soft add 1/2 cup of spelt flour and mix in. Spoon mixture onto greased baking tray and place in the oven for 30 mins at 180. Leave to cool then serve
