Quinoa balls and raw mushrooms- baby food

Today’s experiments went down really well with Eliah so I thought I would share it.

Quinoa balls-
For this I used some of the quinoa we were eating to make these.

First cook up quinoa till soft and leave to cool.

1 tbs mix seeds(sunflower,pumpkin)
1tsp tamari sauce
1/2 avocado

While that is cooking soak a mixed handful of sunflower and pumpkin seeds in water for 20 mins, drain water and add other ingredient and blend till smooth. Mix into the quinoa and make into balls. Leave in the fridge to set.

(optional- you can roll the balls in ground flax seeds if you like)

Raw Mushrooms
Eliah absolutely loved these

A few mushrooms
1 tbs tamari
1 tbs olive oil
Pinch of fresh coriander

Mix all together and leave mushroom to marinade for 30 mins or longer then serve
