Alkalising juice

This juice is filled with B vitamins, helping to uplift the mood, aid regular sleep patterns and alkalising the gut.

2 apples (organic)
1/2 an avocado
2 cups of water
1/2 a lemon
1/2 a cup of ice

Place all of the ingredients into a blender until smooth, then pour and drink!


Pineapple Delight

This is a great juice for a hot day like today. If you can, use the core of the pineapple as this is where a lot of the goodness is. You can find Bromalein there which is great for the digestion. Pineapples are also very high in vitamin C and manganese, a trace mineral that helps with energy production

Ingredients;
1/2 a pineapple (chopped into small pieces with the skin cut off)
1/2 a banana
1/2 a cup of shelled hemp seeds (great for the brain)
2 cups of filtered/spring water
1/2 a cup of ice.

Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour and enjoy this delicious refreshing drink.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Coconut Milk

Recently I have discovered, by accident, how to make my own coconut milk! Everyone in the family loves it and it’s very simple;

1 cup of shredded coconut (or if you are lucky enough to get fresh coconut even better)
1 cup of water
3 dates
1 pinch of Himalayan sea salt

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for 5 minutes until smooth, you can then strain any left over bits through a muslin bag. Store in the fridge for 3 days.


Wild Green Juice

The sun is shining, May is here and all the plants are growing. In fact, they are vibing! So I made a delicious juice today which you can see my baby enjoying. It’s so refreshing and delicious and packed full of the goodness of spring.

So what’s in it?

1 cup of young nettles (full of iron and most other minerals)
1/2 a cup of dandelion leaves (cleansing )
1/2 a cup of chickweed (great for the skin)
1 apple (aids digestion)
1 pear (anti inflammatory, keeps you regular)
A handful of dates (stamina)
1 tsp of reishi mushroom powder (hormone balancing, immune boosting)
1 tsp of phytoplankton (re-mineralising the body)
2 cups of water

Chop everything up and place into the blender (for weaker blenders blend one item at a time). I drink this just as it is so with all of the pulp. This slows down the absorption of the nutrients and the sugar. This is great served cold on a hot day!
