Fresh herb tea

What better way to make the most out of your herbs. Herbs can be a brilliant medicine for many ailments, or just as a general tonic for wellbeing. Here we will make a very simple herb tea.

3 sprigs of mint – aids digestion
1 sprig of rosemary – aids mental clarity
2 sprigs of lemon balm – soothing for the mind, anti bacterial
3 chamomile flowers – calming
5 sage leaves – good for the throat
A small bunch of oregano – good for the chest

Place all of  the ingredients into a tea pot and pour in hot water (don’t put in boiling water as you do not want to damage the herbs). Leave to steep for 5-7 mins, then strain and drink.
