Chia seeds are amazing, they have an abundance of Omega 3 which feeds your brain, stabilises mood and aids concentration. But chia seeds are also a great source of fibre, helping to keep you regular.
This is a wonderful breakfast, snack or dessert.
First make a nut and seed milk (or you can use a shop bought one)
1/2 cup of shelled hemp seeds (another amazing source of omega 3)
1/2 cup of cashew nuts
2 cups of water
Blend until smooth and milk-like.
3 tbs chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla powder (excellent for calming the nervous system)
Place the seeds and vanilla in a bowl and pour over the milk, mix thoroughly and place in fridge to set for an hour. You can eat this just as it is or with some berries.
